The Arizona Fury Developmental league is designed to provide training of developmental skills, technical advancement, and motor development with and without the ball to enable players to compete effectively at the next level of play. Players have an opportunity to learn individual skills as well as the basics of small-sided team play.

Technical skills are the foundation of a great soccer player. Developmental league players will develop a soft first touch, quick and accurate foot work and the skills necessary to create time and space. Ball skills such as dribbling, feints, passing, receiving, shooting and finishing, and 1 v 1 play with an emphasis on coordination, flexibility and creativity. Confidence with the ball in pressure situations is essential to the mastery of the game of soccer.

With proficient ball skills players are ready to work with a partner to develop combination play. Wall passes, take-overs and overlaps are some of the combinations each player will master.

Creativity makes the game of soccer exciting. We encourage players to experiment both at training sessions and during matches. We believe in a fluid game where players are encouraged to use their technical and problems solving skills to find new ways to be successful.

Most important, we have fun. At Arizona Fury, we have high expectations for every player. We play hard and we train hard but, always in a low-pressure, encouraging environment. Players who enjoy what they are doing will work harder to achieve their goals.
